Stella and Dot Jewellery

First of all. Even the name of this brand is cute: Stella & Dot. Second. Their Jewellery is seriously stunning. I want the whole shop. No joke. Third. Their packaging is awesome.

I first came across Stella & Dot at a market in Kingston Upon Thames. There was me, trying to be good and not spend any money (oh look, I forgot to put more in-between 'any' and 'money' *blush* silly me) when I noticed a pair of earrings glistening in the sunlight (yes, I will be making this as dramatic as possible). I'm pretty sure they were yelling 'try me, try me' and I couldn't exactly refuse could I? 'Trying', later became 'Buying' and just before I could get away from the blinding sparkles of the stool, a ring caught my eye and, well, I bought that too... it was going for a lower price okay, I just had to say yes. (Seychelles in Blue or Pink)

A year later and at the Country Living Fair I recognised the Stella & Dot stool, ran over, and ummm... may have bought another pair of earrings, had them delivered to me in yet more pretty packaging and they lived happily ever after. On me. (Capri in Coral or Turquoise)

Fun, quirky designs and bright pops of colours make these jewellery peices essential. I love the earrings, and I now want, no, need a necklace. You know when you find that one brand that sells everything you could ever hope for in a piece of jewellery, that brand that turns any outfit into a *insert your name here* outfit, and people associate your style with that brand? Yeah, thats what Stella & Dot are to me. Their sales are amazing, the service too. Every time I go on the website I get immediately jealous and start coveting everything. Doesn't help that every time I go to the website I'm hopelessly skint either, but I do have £20 credit to use up on my account, so I better get purchasing.

Monochrome Totes & Handbags

I am an extremely fussy handbag buyer. I also tend to prefer monochrome. Accessorize, Dune and Ted Baker are my usual go-to stores but I dream of the day I can stroll into a Dior Boutique and actually purchase a 'Lady Dior'. I'll then walk out (beaming) and use the streets as my runway as I flaunt my new buy. A girl can only dream.

It can take MONTHS for me to find the 'bag of my dreams'. So here I was, on a Tuesday afternoon, strolling though a store when suddenly from the corner of my eye I glimpsed a slick, chic tote with my name written ALL OVER IT. Here it was. The dream I had been waiting for. As soon as I set my eyes on it, I knew I was destined to buy it. It's like Ted Baker looked into my soul and made a bag just for me. And it will be mine... as soon as I get paid (and I'm hoping for a sale *hint hint*). What I like just as much as the tote itself is that it has a name. And yes, when it's mine, I will be calling it by its name: Aveline. C'est chic. And it matches my recently purchased belt from Ted too.

So if you're a girl like me who would love a classic black bag but simply can't afford the hefty high end prices, have no fear! Ted Baker is here... as well as Dune, Topshop and New Look...

A handbag 'noir' is an essential part of the wardrobe especially since winter is approaching (I know, I know, I have a nerve uttering the word 'winter' in the middle of summer, but we must be well equipped ladies!). Team with a little black dress or a blouse-skinny jeans-stiletto look for a 'tres Chanel' outfit.
My High Fashion Favourites for the Fall 14:
1. Mulberry 'Willow Tote' Small
2. 'Lady Dior' in Black Lambskin
3. Dolce & Gabbana Dauphine Calfskin Sicily Bag
Ted Baker Beauties:
4. Sophia Quilted Tote Bag
5. Aveline Leather Tote Bag
6. Savanah Quilted Top Handle Bag
Other Stunners:
7. Dune Daylocks Black
8. Topshop Elaborate Laser Cut Holdall
9. New Look Structured Twist Lock

Afternoon Tea and a British Bulldog

Saturday I headed up to Goodge Street Station to meet my Aunty for Afternoon Tea. So after a brief browse round the beautiful boutiques (I'm definitely coming back here with money haha) we made our way to the Charlotte Street Hotel.

First of all, I wanted to steal the pretty little tea sets (unfortunately my bag was too small booo), second of all the English Rose Cocktail is AMAZING - 'Fresh Strawberries, shaken with strawberry and rose syrup, topped with rosé Champagne' - I felt like a proper 'Lady' for a few hours (I don't even think I lasted that long to be honest hehehe). Thirdly, get the Bloomsbury Afternoon Tea. So Good! And last but not least, when looking for the ladies, don't walk into the gym like I did - makes you feel VERY guilty about stuffing your face with cake and cocktails!

I am definitely coming back for another Afternoon Tea, followed by shopping in the boutiques when I have just been paid! I feel a girls day out brewing...

We then headed to Liberty's. No reason. But its Liberty's. You kind of have to go don't you? Again, I'm coming back for a proper look because my goodness I want the shop.

Sunday we took my Aunty and Uncle's British Bulldog Alfie for a walk round Hampstead Heath (so pretty) and then a trip to a cute little book shop (I absolutely love old book stores) where I found Alexa Chung's book It - and of course, had to buy It.

This weekend has taught me the importance of getting an British Bulldog. Do you know how many people stopped to coo over Alfie? LOADS. I need one!

As much as I love travelling to different countries, it becomes easy to forget London is such a beautiful city and I love how you can find cute shops tucked away down a quiet cobbled street easy to miss. I'm making a promise to myself that this year I need to explore London more.

Dune Burst Metallic Courts

Words cannot describe how beautiful my new heels are. I have been looking for the perfect pair of 'show-stoppers' for a very long time now. As can be seen in my collection of heels, I don't exactly go for 'practicality' in a pair of heels. Ever. And these are no exception. These were a present from my Ma and Pa (spoilt much) and I absolutely love them. I am never taking them off. Ever.

My lovely friend Claudia got just as excited about them as I did (times like this I'm thankful she's not the same shoe size as me - I refuse to share these beauties) and we spent the whole evening decorating them with fairy lights to get some pretty hot pictures. I now need a party to wear them too. Actually, scrap the party I don't need an excuse.
